About Academic English

Preparing you for undergraduate studies, delivered in English

The Academic English 1 and Academic English 2 courses aim to equip learners with the competencies and skills to access a range of contemporary learning opportunities.

While keeping language literacy at its core, the Academic English curriculum is shaped around five other key literacy streams: cultural, information, critical, digital and assessment. By working through these literacy streams and successfully completing assessment, learners will develop their English language skills to a B2 Independent User on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

When learners successfully exit this course, they will be well-prepared for success in further studies.
